- Federal Law No. 6 of 2007 — Concerning the establishment of the Insurance Authority and Organisation of its Operations (as amended).
- Cabinet Decision No. 42 of 2009 — Regulating the insurance business in the UAE.
- Insurance Authority Board of Directors Decision No. 15 of 2013 — Concerning regulations for insurance brokers.
- Central Bank of the UAE — Applicable financial services regulations following the transfer of insurance sector supervision.
- UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — Concerning the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).
- All applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) legislation under UAE federal law.
